Contrast, shadows, and light
Hello! My name is Dimitar Madzharov. I'm a photographer from Sofia, Bulgaria. Over the years i've developed a style that's really contrast heavy. Deep shadows, black blacks, bright highligts. I get that it's not the most "technically correct" style, i know that a lot of people may be iffy about it, but it's mine. I developed it the way it is over the years, and i want to share it with the world. That's why i made this site.
I don't want to be the next corny photographer who wants you to see the world "through his lens"
That's boring.
I've dabbled in all kinds of photography. Portrait, landscape, food, nature, travel.
But I've always came back to street. That's my passion. The others are just side dishes to the main one. I don't know I guess it's something in the fact that you capture people's lives? If i go to the same location 50 time, 50 out of 50 times i will get a different shot, a different composition. It's dynamic, i've missed a lot of really good shots over the years. But i've also captured really good ones.
It's not boring. Well, not if I don't shoot a bunch of building and call it a day. I don't really think a lot about "rules" in photography. I just see something interesting and shoot (with the right settings ofcourse).
